Words From Clients

“I lost my husband of 48 years last October. I found myself very alone, isolated, fearing for my mental stability and very anxious. I was thankfully referred to the Wellness counselors. Johnna has been my sanity lifeline since January. I had no idea what grief was, how to mourn, how to handle all the emotions that come with losing your best friend and love. Grief, for me, has been like large waves – I’m feeling good one day and crashing the next. I now get several days of feeling good, still cry but know that’s ok, and am stronger mentally. Johnna has helped me navigate all the twists and turns with understanding, compassion, great sense of humor, and has been available to me when I hit a crisis moment.”
