Meet

Rachel Howell

My name is Rachel Howell, and I am an MSW student intern at Chamberlain University, graduating June 2026, and an Agency Affiliated Counselor. I received my BA in Humanities from Whitworth University in 2019 and have worked in the mental health field in various settings since 2015. I specialize in working with adults with OCD, trauma, and chronic pain. I combine a humanistic and existential approach with a trauma-informed, strengths-based lens to help you explore big life questions, like “what’s the meaning of life,” as well as practical questions, like “how do I get through this week?”

My approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness. I help individuals reconnect with their innermost selves, process unresolved experiences, let go of old beliefs and behaviors, and reclaim parts of themselves that may have been lost or buried. Together, we work to build skills and insight that move you toward healing, resilience, and living more authentically.
